A visit to an old friend

Hey Guys,

Jenn and I were traveling for the holidays and were fortunate to check in on an old friend in the Seattle area.

WhiteKnight has a very famous past as carrier aircraft for SpaceShipOne.  But for ten years after that it was busy hauling payloads for customers at Scaled.  As a result Jenn and I spent a lot of time with it before it was delivered to it's new home at the Flying Heritage Collection a couple months ago.

The airplane looked great with a fresh coat of wax and a prominent place next to their SpaceShipOne replica.  A cool place to visit an old homebuilt.

SETP SW

Hey Guys

Jenn and I would like to thank James Sargeant and Norm Driscoll for inviting us out to Fort Worth to the SETP SW annual event (link), and Eric Hansen for bringing it all together.

We gave a quick pitch about Scaled Composites, the Mojave Airport, Wasabi Air Racing, and the type of folk that hang out here in the Antelope Valley.

This was our first time presenting at an SETP or SFTE event and it is a truly humbling group of people to stand in front of, a great experience.

It was a lovely venue, with some fantastic papers, the F-35 production tour was fantastic, and we are still shocked by the accomplished people we got to meet.

Recruiting Trip to Illinois

Wasabi team members Elliot Seguin and Jenn Whaley will be attending the E-Fest event in Champaign Illinois next month.  The visit is a recruiting trip for Scaled Composites, and includes a speaking event on Saturday February 9 at 9:30am.  If you are in the area send us an email it would be good to tag up.
