Home of Wasabi Air Racing

Elliot Seguin and Jenn Whaley's Formula One class air race team based out of Mojave, California. Pylon racing at the National Championship Air Races in Reno Nevada. A weekend at SZP

Got to spend the weekend with Andy and Klaus at Santa Paula.  What a cool airport with so much cool stuff going on.

Check out the ground fog south of Mojave, and the silver dollar that Darryl carried on his 3km run in the F-104, is that cool or what?

A trip to visit Klaus Savier

Hey guys,

I was fortunate enough to fly out to visit Klaus (link) at Santa Paula a couple months back.

That guy sure has a good time.

Besides letting me fly the Determinator, we spent several hours digging through his past experiments.

A personal favorite was his independent induction runner mod.  Which replaced the stock continental carb and spider with a rotatary slide throttle (shown below) and independent fuel injection.  Can you imagine if this kind of thing was legal in formula one?

Party on,
