Home of Wasabi Air Racing

Elliot Seguin and Jenn Whaley's Formula One class air race team based out of Mojave, California. Pylon racing at the National Championship Air Races in Reno Nevada. Eight airplanes racing head to head around telephone poles in the desert. Mojave is the best place on the planet to build and modify a race plane, and Wasabi is lucky to have the best support in the business.

Thank You Brian!

Brian Reberry sent us this 2nd edition Complete Guide to Rutan Aircraft for Christmas, thank you Brian!

Brian is an aircraft designer builder and racer himself.  Most recently known for his work on the totally wicked September Fate.  We are trying to get Brian to bring the airplane to Mojave in April for the flyin.  If you see Brian around let him know how much you'd like to see the airplane in April !:)

Long EZ Cooler Exhaust Notes

Hey Guys,

I was in my archives for some other stuff and found this gem.  The excerpt focuses on aft facing sugar scoops as installed for oil cooling exhaust on Long EZs.  As you know this is a trouble spot on not only Long EZs but most pusher configured aircraft.  This is out of the Long EZ build notes.  Wasabi was able to verify these findings last year in flight test.

What are you working on tonight?
