Hey Guys
Oh the things that you find in Mojave. We were jamming on an EZ that is getting ready to leave for Oshkosh last night and found this IOL-200 cylinder (see below) in a corner of the hanger. To be fair, it was Dick's hangar and the EZ was Old Blue, one of the round the world EZ's. But nonetheless, its cool that the other 4 in existence are in a little museum in the capital.
Makes me feel like a weenie for the silly mods we do to our O-200s in the formula class.

Long EZ Cooler Exhaust Notes
Hey Guys,
I was in my archives for some other stuff and found this gem. The excerpt focuses on aft facing sugar scoops as installed for oil cooling exhaust on Long EZs. As you know this is a trouble spot on not only Long EZs but most pusher configured aircraft. This is out of the Long EZ build notes. Wasabi was able to verify these findings last year in flight test.
